The Father used your Amazon River Mission Team to join HIM in HIS work along the Amazon Flood villages. These villages can only be reached during the flood season. As of the writing of this article, these villages are no longer accessible by boat. Your team report: 43 plus home visits; over 173 people visited; 16 professions of faith; 275 plus children, teens & teachers heard the Gospel in the two village schools;
It is not too early to begin planning for the Taiwan mission in December 4-12. The team will present a 40 minute English Cultural Class teaching the “True Meaning of CHRISTMAS.” Seeds will be planted among those who have never heard the Gospel. The classes will be presented in public schools! Space is limited so sign up soon. In March a team will present “The True Meaning of Easter.” For more information call me.
The Acts 1:8 command of Jesus is the mandate to get involved in spreading the Gospel. Start where the Father has placed you: your family, work, community, church. Extend out from there to the ends of the earth! May being on mission become our driving force in reproducing healthy spiritual followers of Jesus resulting in Acts 2:42 churches: developing relationships, sharing Jesus and make producing Disciples for the Kingdom!
Take the time to pray and identify your mission field. Then be on mission! “Who’s Your One?” in each of the Acts 1:8 commands (home, community, state, national, ends of the earth). Pray for, engage, plant seeds and see what God can and will do through you!
I celebrated 18 years as your AMS on September 8th. I am blessed to be your AMS, NEAR you to Network, Equip, Assist and Resource for Kingdom-work effectively! Until HE comes!

Taiwan Christmas MISSION Trip: Presenting an English class December 4-12, “The True Meaning of Christmas” in public schools. We will also connect with local missionaries for discovery on other possible mission opportunities. For more information call 931-639-7158.
The tentative “The True Meaning of Easter” presentation is March 26 – April 3, 2027.
AMAZON MISSION BANQUET is Friday, October 16th at 6:00pm. The information will be live-stream from Gadsden, AL where the event will be held. We will do a pot-luck meal at the Baptist Center in Shelbyville as one of the satellite locations. You will hear from the director, catch a vision of the future of work along the Amazon River in Brazil and enjoy testimonies of previous trips. If you’d like to be a part, text or email me with the number you anticipate attending.
AMAZON RIVER MISSION TRIP 2027 is scheduled for June 27 to July 5. This is a tentative date and may change a day or so either way, depending on flights and boat. The Amazon Mission boat is equipped for 18, so don’t wait to sign up. The trip will include connecting with at least two indigenous villages, and possibly a church planting Brazilian Seminary graduate to be placed in a village while we are there.
TBMB SUMMIT is November 15-18 at the Sevierville Convention Center in Sevierville, TN. Sunday night is fellowship groups. Monday is the Pastor’s meeting with TBMB Celebration beginning Monday night through all day Tuesday. Schedule is attached.
